Patient Discharge
Normal patient discharge is at 11 a.m. When you are discharged, you or a family member will be directed to the cashier located in Admitting. It is best to have a relative or friend take you home regardless of the reason for your hospitalization. Your relative or friend will be directed to meet you at the Admitting/Emergency entrance of the hospital, off Banburry Cross.
In preparation for discharge, the staff will work with you to prepare for your return home. Please be sure to ask them about any concerns you may have. If you have any special needs, such as home health care or home health equipment, the Social Services Department can assist you with these needs during the discharge process. Please call them at 702-233-7611.
